I am a freelance photographer and anthropologist currently based in Milan, Italy. This site features some of my reportages and photo projects covering humanitarian emergencies, armed conflicts aftermaths, social issues, as well as personal works.
I started taking pictures in Uganda as registered journalist covering the setting up of Bidibidi Refugee Center at South Sudan border in collaboration with local NGO Child Welfare Attainment Center and Ministry of Disaster Preparedness and Refugees in charge. In Philippines Republic I covered Marawi crisis after Isis attack working with Philippine Government Information Agency. Since then I continued documenting life in changing societies, in Armenia, Ruanda, Lebanon, Pakistan, Madagascar,Tanzania, Kenya, Gibuti, South Africa, Namibia, Somaliland, Russia, Paraguay, Argentina, Palestine, Israel, Iraq, and Italy, working for local newspapers and NGOs. More recently I have been working in projects related to Covid19 impact and Ukranian refugees crisis, for Global Humanitaria NGO and for the “Civil Week” supported by Corriere della Sera; I’ve been working on a local journalist reportage in Iraq for a University of Milan research project and I’ve been in Israel and Palestine during 2024, and once back in Italy i organized seminars and information meetings about current local situation in schools and youth centers. In 2024 i worked in Burundi for We World Organization documenting projects concerning sectors of nutrition, health and food security, and, in Uganda in collaboration with photographer and videomaker Maddalena Arcelloni, i realized a documentary about the history and the projects of Ewe Mama Africa Ngo.
